Taris Hoffman is very serious about playing pretend.
From my first foray into performance at Piven Theatre Workshop to my undergraduate career at Northwestern University (where I trained as an actor, dancer, singer, comedian, writer, director, choreographer… oh geez, when did I sleep?), I’ve always had an exploratory spirit and keen desire to continually grow as a collaborative, interdisciplinary artist. My knack for discovering and developing profoundly human stories into larger-than-life romps means that I really do work hard, play hard. When I’m not tinkering away on a project, you can find me drinking espresso, listening to The Monkees, and researching Star Wars lore—probably all at once.
